Did you know that the origins of carving Jack'O'Lanterns can be traced back to Irish Folklore? The story goes that a fellow known as 'Stingy Jack' tried his luck making deals with the Devil. Eventually, Jack ran out of luck and the Devil caught up with him, taking his soul and leaving him to roam the darkness between heaven and hell with nothing but an ember carried in a hollowed-out turnip for light. Inspired by this tale, our Samhain art print features a beautifully hand-painted pumpkin in the style of antique botanical illustrations.
