An exclusive and single restored vintage furniture piece designed and made by Scottish cabinet maker which is now ready to be adored once again in its new home.
Inspired by the beauty of Renaissance Italy, with just a cheeky touch of kitsch! This beautifully simple vintage glass cabinet has been carefully refurbished in a rich mid-blue with stunning “Madonna and Child” art decoupage on the back panel, transforming it to a real feature piece. The inside has been designed to bring to life a Venetian interior, as if a Renaissance painting hangs tall, with gold coloured
metallic leaf on the “ceiling” and a harlequin gold and pale blue/green hand-stencilled design on the base “floor”. The inner glass shelf is removable if preferred, and the glass panels on both sides ensure maximum light into the cabinet. Mouldings around the lower edges of the original glass panels have been gently high-lighted with a touch of gold wax, and the whole cabinet sits perfectly on Queen Anne styled legs.
“Venezia” is a truly charming and compact size cabinet for any interior space.
