The chair’s intentional, detail-oriented architecture reflects L.Ercolani’s long-standing commitment to utility — providing a simple yet gracious seat that effortlessly lends itself to any number of occasions and settings.

Purpose-built for convenience, the outward-facing legs of the STACKING CHAIR allow the chairs to be stacked vertically when not in use. This, coupled with the chair’s ergonomic design, make the STACKING CHAIR a versatile offering that complements urban workspaces, intimate dining environments and private residences alike.

When decorating a space, functionality and aesthetic appeal are often regarded with equal importance. The STACKING CHAIR unites these two principles in a precise, streamlined form, deliberately designed for optimal comfort, ease of use and versatility.

Additionally, the STACKING CHAIR features traditional woodworking elements, including the iconic Windsor wedge and tenon joint — a trademark detail found in many of Lucian Ercolani’s early works. In this classic technique, the chair’s legs are extended through the seat and secured with a wedge. These joints are then sanded until they lie flush with the seat to create an incredibly durable, reinforced base, built to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use.

Constructed of solid ash timber, the STACKING CHAIR is offered in nine distinctive finishes, including the new MODERN TONES series by Christian Møller Andersen — an energising trio of stains inspired by the modernist design movement. The chair is also offered in a natural finish, allowing users to appreciate the grounding, tactile presence of wood in its most pure form.

Premium Delivery includes a full delivery service, furniture will be placed in your room of choice, providing it is safely accessible.  Furniture will be carried up a maximum of two flight of stairs, unless there is a useable lift or a risk assessment permits it. 

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, if an agreed delivery fails due to customer unavailability or access issues, the delivery charge and associated services costs will still be applied.  Orders containing multiple items will be grouped and sent at the furthest lead time so that you will receive one delivery.
