Ooooops....not quite the right fit? We've all been there (L-A has that rainbow sequined Zara skirt in a size 8)  We are here to help. If you are at all unsure, if say a print is incorrect, or something is missing we can use the wonders of technology with photos or video call to make sure everything is just right. Don't be afraid to ask.

Why Authorization code?
*This makes things quicker for us in identifying your order & value to reimburse you, or to make sure we have a replacement item on hand to get to you quickly.   
*This will qualify your item for a return - acknowledging that it is not a custom order, bespoke item, or cut length.
*We are happy to accept returns within 14 days of dispatching your delivery. 
We will inspect the returned item and will notify you of your refund/replacement or exchange via email. 
Please return your items in original condition with packaging if possible marking your AUTH CODE on the package for a full refund (excluding shipping costs) and address to

Please use a secure reliable courier and retain proof of shipment. The sender will be liable for any damage to the goods until we receive them. 

We cannot accept responsibility for packages that never reach us. 

We will inspect the returned item and will notify you of your refund/replacement or exchange via email. 
NON RETURNABLE ITEMS 
You may not be issued a returns auth code for items that are bespoke, personalized (initials / custom coloured) or made / cut to a specific size / quantity. This includes all Mind The Gap branded product, wallpapers, fabrics, lampshades, cushions, wall art and all furniture items as they are all made to order.  As with all our made to order products, we cannot accept returns unless it is faulty or has been damaged in transit.
FAULTY ITEMS 
Should you receive an item you believe to be faulty, please email returns@thedesignyard.co.uk with an explanation and if possible a photo. We'll issue you an AUTH CODE if deemed suitable (your dog hasn't eaten it) and we'll arrange a full refund once we have the item returned, and cover all your shipping costs too. We will inspect the returned item and will notify you of your refund via email.

Or you can let us know if you'd like to try again with a replacement and we'll expedite that once we have the original back. Please mark your AUTH CODE on your package. 
 WALLPAPERS:
Wallpapers should be flagged as faulty after the first drop is cut / hung. Please contact asap if you need to query a design fault. We will not be responsible for replacements or refunds beyond the first roll should the product continue to be used / installed.   
EXCHANGES 
We would rather refund you than exchange, but if you prefer an exchange than please email returns@thedesignyard.co.uk and we'll help you reselect and sort out the financials once we have the item returned. We will issue you an AUTH CODE to return. Please include this on the outside of you package.   We cannot exhange made to order items.
RECEIVING YOUR REFUND  
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method. Credit return times may vary depending on method and provider. Credit card - typically up to 10 days.  PayPal - returns will be paid directly into your account typically within 3-5 days.
