Is that one kiss or two? Let's delve into your roots to find out which flower head you are; An English Rose Maximalist, or a French Iris Sophisticate.

The British are a little less formal than the French. Our freedom and creativity shows in our relaxed approach to interiors and a pride in our breaking of the rules. Still, we envy those French antique markets, their impecable effortless sophistication and the ability to make the everyday romantic.

Our curated collections are all based around THE DOORS & what's behind them. The idea of these doors were created to intrigue you and invite you into a look and style that suits you and your home. Our thoughts being; whichever door you instantly are gravitated too might be a good starting point for discovering a style for your home. Whether you are embarking on a full renovation or, or just shopping for a few key pieces to elevate, or updating a look or room you feel needs a refresh, these collections can be used as guides as you go through the journey.

Are you a French Iris Sophisticate? Two kisses please..

Living in full bloom. This curated collection is unashamedly romantic, poetic and thoughtful, with elements of a fantasy life in a French Chateaux. Exotic birds, wondrous wild animals, energetic greens and Van Gogh's blossoms. Refined wallpapers, fabrics, furniture, accessories, all with that alluring Je ne c'est quoi. Although France is so close in proximity, the look differs from The English Gardens we know so well. Perhaps that added level of romance and seduction, mixed with Royal formality equates to a look that is a tad more sophisticated and elegant.

A look very much based on the classic British interiors of layered prints, floral details, chintz, fine cottons and garden themes. The 2022 take, adds more than a bit of Rock & Roll cheekiness. Turn up the volume because the colours are louder, the scale is larger, and if you want to throw in a disco ball - all the better. This modern English is all about self expression, non conformity, and breaking the rules - Kate Moss style. A Liberty print sofa meets a ditsy print wallpaper, meets a tiger embellished cushion..the trick is to pick one colour as a continuous thread, a bit like a theme song that keeps the party going. Here, the aim is to appear collected, as though items are treasures gathered and hoarded over the years, for a look that is effortlessly personal and truly unique. This is Granny Chic once she's had a few too many sherries but she's not leaving anytime soon.
